Back to School 2018: Transportation

It’s hard to believe we’re already in the long, hot and lazy days of July, but most children will be returning to school next month. Classes in the El Paso Independent School District start August 13. Dallas resumes August 20, while Houston kids don’t report for duty until August 27. But however you look at it, August is the month to start that new school year.

Field Trips

Students take a break from traveling for a school trip and stretch their legs

At AFC, we always look forward to kids going back to school. For us, it means having enthusiastic students aboard our buses. We love to drive kids on field trips and to transport sports teams to their away games. Whether it’s an educational trip to Galveston’s Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig & Museum, sheer fun at Arlington’s Six Flags Over Texas or a much anticipated away game at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa, we’re ready for a bus full of excited kids.

School Buses

In addition to these special occasions, AFC also contracts with school districts to provide regular school bus service. We’re committed to offering safe and reliable transportation for school students throughout the state of Texas. Our managers and drivers are highly-trained and we have programs designed to support your district’s routes and schedules throughout the school term.

We have a dedicated school bus fleet. Our school buses are equipped with the latest standards in safety, comfort, and technology. We closely monitor driver performance to make sure we provide students with the safest ride.
